Shashank Rajput

I am a FARE Fellow (Postdoctoral Researcher) at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur working in the area of traffic flow theory, disordered traffic systems, and physics-informed deep learning.

My research focuses on:

• Higher-order continuum modeling for disordered traffic
• Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs)
• UAV-based trajectory data collection
• Macroscopic traffic simulations
• Machine learning applications in transportation engineering

I completed my Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from IIT Kanpur under the supervision of Dr. Venkatesan Kanagaraj.

Research interests include traffic simulations, continuum modeling, machine learning, and AI-based traffic state estimation.
